All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 HCSB
My brothers, if any among you strays from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his life from death and cover a multitude of sins.
James 5:19-20 HCSB
We are commanded to keep our fellow Christians on the narrow path; we are to show them the truth so that they may be saved from eternal death. Rebuke the wanderers so that they do not join the lukewarm’s; rebuke them so that they may be saved.
If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For the person who does not love his brother he has seen cannot love the God he has not seen.
1 John 4:20 HCSB
Love for our fellow brother’s and sister’s in Christ, this is the one thing we all have a hard time showing sometimes. Without love, we cannot have faith; without faith, we cannot have love.
But I will sing of Your strength and will joyfully proclaim Your faithful love in the morning. For You have been a stronghold for me, a refuge in my day of trouble.
Psalm 59:16 HCSB
Sing the praises of our God, for His love never fails! When times are good, sing! When times are bad, sing! God will always be at your side, lean on Him, and He will walk you through all trials and tribulations.
Sing praises to God in the highest!
For our exhortation didn’t come from error or impurity or an intent to deceive. Instead, just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please men, but rather God, who examines our hearts.
1 Thessalonians 2:3-4 HCSB
When we spread the Gospel, we are not to speak to please man, but to please God. We are not to add to, or take away from the word of God; we are only to speak the truth. Those who speak of a’ prosperity doctrine’; multiple ways to heaven; denial of the Godhead; denial of Christ’s death and resurrection; sin without repentance; or the acceptance of the sinful ways of others as a way of showing love for them, when in reality we are saying defying God is acceptable; those are all lies meant to please man, not God, and lead only to death.
Read the Bible and dwell on each verse to see what it says to you; read it in context; read it with a clear mind, free from preconceived notions and outward influences; but above all else, read it only after praying to the Father through the authority granted by His Son as you pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as you read.
Now the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will personally restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little. The dominion belongs to Him forever. Amen.
1 Peter 5:10-11 HCSB
Do not despair from the little suffering we have in our physical lives, for our Lord and Saviour will restore us to perfection in our coming eternal life; despair only if you are not a child of Christ, as then your coming eternity is a fate of total anguish.
